SCAMMERS!!!!! refuses to take ANY gift certificate, we've been buying them for years and they always give us crap about taking them, they're not even expired, literal scammers and they do this to ANYONE who has a gift card, do NOT waste your money here, and especially don't buy a gift certificate
Reasonably priced for a foot massage. I work on my feet so they took a brutal hit this past week. She was able to find spots that I didn’t even know were achy! Would recommend and return.
I am a regular customer. Yesterday afternoon I went in for a foot massage. As soon as I walked in, a lady came up without asking what service I wanted and took me into a room. I said I wanted a 30-minute foot massage. She told me there would be a $50 service fee. I said $40, but she still charged me $50. Then she asked me to take off my clothes, which didn’t make sense because I only wanted a foot massage. Later another lady came and helped me out of that situation and finally brought me to do the foot massage. The whole session was half an hour, but the lady who worked on my feet was just touching lightly without using any real pressure. Very disappointing experience.
I’ve been going to this establishment for a few years now and was always thrilled with its competitive pricing. I even purchased gift cards to give to friends and family. It was also great to see them grow from a single massage parlor into multiple private rooms. However, my most recent experience echoed some of the other negative reviews I’ve seen. I went in planning to tip 20%, even if the service turned out to be subpar (which had never happened before). At the start of my appointment, I was asked to pay upfront — something that had never been requested on prior visits. Previously, I always paid afterward, when I would also leave my tip. When the massage began, my masseuse continued talking with a coworker for about 10 minutes. Since it wasn’t in English and there was no explanation that this was training, it left me feeling uncomfortable and ruined the mood. Despite that, I found the massage itself quite effective, so while getting dressed afterward, I decided to increase my tip to 30%. But then, as I was gathering my things, I was asked directly if I could tip an extra $10. This was the first time in my life someone had ever asked me to increase my tip, and I was stunned. Expecting a 40% tip — especially after already tipping well — was off-putting. And seeing I’m not the only reviewer who has mentioned this makes me feel I should look elsewhere for future massages. Raise your prices if needed, but don’t pressure customers for a larger tip. Just to clarify: I do tip, and often generously — especially when the service truly exceeds expectations. At a restaurant I frequent for Friday fish, I often tip as much as the meal costs. I fully support raising the minimum wage, but I think tipping culture has gone too far when customers are asked to tip in advance or pressured to add more afterward.
Last week I went to a massage place, and this tiny, older lady ended up working on me. I paid $50, and she only worked for 15 minutes. Then she insisted I give her a bigger tip. I told her I only had $10, and she got angry and kicked me out. It was a terrible experience.
